Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the JobRocketAI web application ("Service") operated by STRYDD Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

1. Description of Service

1.1 Service Overview

JobRocketAI is an AI-powered job application preparation platform that helps users create tailored resumes, generate cover letters, and prepare for interviews. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze job descriptions and customize application materials based on your professional profile.

1.2 Service Limitations

The Service is a document preparation tool only. We do not submit job applications on your behalf, guarantee employment outcomes, or provide employment placement services. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any materials generated through our Service.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2.2 Legal Capacity

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address or through Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Model

The Service operates on a paid subscription model ("Pro Subscription"). The Pro Subscription provides access to all features including AI-powered resume tailoring, cover letter generation, and interview preparation tools.

4.2 Billing

The Pro Subscription is billed on a monthly basis at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice.

4.5 Taxes

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you are responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

5.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be provided for the remaining time in your billing cycle.

5.2 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our Service and the immediate access to AI-powered features upon subscription, all sales are generally final. 5.3 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and pursue collection of any amounts owed. We encourage you to contact us directly at info@strydd.com to resolve any billing concerns before disputing a charge.

6. User Content and Data

6.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the personal and professional information you provide to the Service ("User Content"), including your resume data, work history, education, and other profile information.

6.2 License Grant

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and store your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account or remove your User Content.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI (including tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview questions) is provided to you for your personal use. You own the output generated specifically for you, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

6.4 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before use. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions, and you agree to review and edit all generated materials before submission to potential employers.

7. Acceptable Use

7.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or generated documents
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service or its AI models
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service in an unauthorized manner
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to generate spam, unsolicited communications, or fraudulent materials
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
  • Use the Service to impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, AI models, resume templates, and user interface design, is owned by STRYDD Inc. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search purposes only, subject to these Terms.

8.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, unless laws prohibit these restrictions or you have our written permission.

9. AI and Automated Services Disclaimer

9.1 AI Limitations

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may not always be perfect, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. The AI may occasionally produce content that is factually incorrect, contextually inappropriate, or not aligned with your professional background.

9.2 User Review Required

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING, EDITING, AND VERIFYING ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT BEFORE USE. We strongly recommend that you carefully review all resumes, cover letters, and other materials generated by the Service before submitting them to potential employers.

9.3 No Employment Guarantees

We do not guarantee any employment outcomes, interviews, job offers, or career success as a result of using our Service. The effectiveness of your job applications depends on many factors outside our control, including your qualifications, the job market, employer preferences, and how you present yourself.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

10.1 "As Is" Basis

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 No Warranty of Results

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable, or that the quality of any content obtained through the Service will meet your expectations.

10.3 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other problems or need to perform maintenance related to the Service, resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STRYDD INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated content
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
  • Any employment decisions made by you or third parties based on materials generated by the Service

11.2 Cap on Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY.

11.3 Basis of the Bargain

THE LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN US AND YOU.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless STRYDD Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting account deletion through the Service settings or by contacting us at info@strydd.com.

13.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. We specifically reserve the right to terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in fraudulent activity, violated our acceptable use policies, or initiated an unjustified chargeback.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. Changes to Terms

14.1 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the updated Terms on our website and/or sending you an email notification.

14.2 Continued Use

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.

16.3 Waiver of Class Actions

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and STRYDD Inc. regarding the Service.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.

17.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
